Chipolbrok has signed a contract for six next-generation 60,800 DWT multipurpose heavy-lift ships, with an option for four additional units—further enhancing our strength in project, oversized, and specialized cargo transportation.
Built for maximum versatility, the new vessels will include:
• three 200-ton cranes (up to 400 tons in tandem)
• a spacious, unobstructed deck
• four cargo holds with tween decks
• forward accommodation to improve cargo-handling efficiency
These newbuildings will be fitted with shaft generators, ice-class notation, and fuel-efficient main engines, resulting in reduced fuel consumption and lower emissions.
Deliveries are set to begin in November 2027.
