Dear Customer,

As you are aware as from the 1st of January 2020 new IMO regulation regarding compulsory low sulphur fuel usage by ocean vessel will come into force. Chipolbrok, as well all other carriers, is already in process of preparing fuel tanks, engines and piping systems in order to comply with this new regulation and in order to make our vessel fit for it. We shall also start using  more expensive low sulphur fuel before official implementation date announced by IMO. All this means additionall costs for our shipping activity.

Therefore, we are introducing with effect as from the 1st of October 2019 the Low Sulphur Surcharge (LSS) of USD 25 w/m and USD 110 per TEU for liner service being under Chipolbrok Gdynia control i.e. on Europe - Asia and America - Asia liner bookings irrespectively of loading/discharging area.

At the same time all other fuel related surcharges are replaced by LSS.

Review of surcharges additionals as from the 1st of October 2019 applied by Chipolbrok Gdynia:
