Master Mariner or min Chief Officer degree with about 10 years of experience at sea, very good command of both written and spoken English – compulsory, preferred adequately certified, experience at similar position at other carriers, experience with handling break bulk cargo including heavy lifts, awkward pieces and project cargo, proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office, knowledge of cargo planning, lashing and stability software as well as IMDG Code, strong organizational and multi-task planning skills, initiative, adaptability, ability to work in a team, ready to travel to ports abroad (mainly in Europe) and prepared to work in flexible hours, knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures. 

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Prepare plans of cargo loading and unloading (break bulk, general cargo, heavy pieces, awkward pieces, containers, vehicles, bulk cargo, IMCO cargo), Supervising cargo loading and unloading and other ships’ operations, prepare lashing plans and respective calculations as well as taking care about adequate cargo lashing equipment, cooperating with port authorities, agents, stevedores, ships’ Master and crew etc., report to Ops Manager, liaise with internal staff at all levels, prepare, edit and respond to correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents, file and retrieve documents and reference materials, interact with external clients.
