On September 10th, the “Contract signing ceremony of Shanghai Shipyard to build (2+2+1)×32,000DWT MPP heavy-lift vessels for Chipolbrok” was held in Shanghai. Mr. Sun Min and Mr. Janusz Janiszewski, Chipolbrok General Directors of both sides and Mr. Gu Tiquan, Chairman of Shanghai Shipyard signed the newbuildings contract jointly. Mr. Xue Maogen, Chief Executor of China region of Lloyd's Register, Mr. Hu Jintao, President of Shanghai Merchant Ship Design and Research Institute, and over eighty distinguished guests from various circles of society presented the ceremony. Highest lifting capacity of new vessels is up to 700 mts. New vessels will be put into operation in succession from the end of 2015.
